The Raleigh Park Jog-A-Thon is a our school’s largest fundraiser. This year, with budget cuts at the Beaverton School District, the Jog-A-Thon takes on a new importance. The proceeds of our Jog-A-Thon will help fill the gap left by the cuts and provide important education and learning enrichment activities for our kids. We’ll work to provide classroom assistance for our teachers in literacy, music and art, as well as supplementing physical education and providing our kids with valuable hands-on learning experiences.
Every student at Raleigh Park will get to participate by running laps around our school track in this fun, healthy event…and, at the same time, they learn the importance of helping their community. Kids not only run, but they also invite family, friends and neighbors to support their efforts with a financial pledge or donation that will help their school. Each child will race around the track as many times as their small bodies can muster in a specified period of time, and they know the more laps they run, the more they can raise to help the school. The kids are awarded prizes for their efforts in an all school assembly.
Every dollar counts. It all adds up to make a huge difference…..and, this year, it’s that difference the kids truly need! Join us and make that difference for the kids -- click on the Donate Now! button at the left, start your own fundraising page and ask your friends to help online, or find a fundraiser and join their efforts. Thank you for supporting our youth, their health, our schools, and our future!
